I was never the girl who really wanted children. I was never the girl who really wanted to get married. I thought these things kind of happen in a magical future. I married the man I stumbled onto in Colombia 2,5 years ago. Easy, simple.I was never around pregnant women, I didn’t really know what it means. I saw them walking around like some sort of beautiful aliens but I never thought it would be me.What I did know is that being in a female body I would absolutely LOVE to experience this precious gift before I leave this earth.My sister gave birth to her two daughters but I wasn’t there during any of the pregnancies. A girlfriend recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and this was my first time being close to a pregnant woman. But, of course, this is something no one can explain unless you feel it yourself. Every pregnancy is unique.I was 49kg and 164 cm at the time when I got pregnant. My body looks like a 19-year old body. I think it’s a bit ridiculous but my husband (obviously) loves it.Two weeks before the news I messaged a photographer and told her I want to have a boudoir session because I am currently in the best shape possible and I will probably get pregnant soon so I would really like to capture this body as it is right now because it will never be the same.I know “it” happened on our couch in the living room (will spare you the details of the specific position) during my ovulation but I wouldn’t know for sure.I find it surprising that some women REALLY want to be pregnant and have a child while not having a healthy, loving relationship with their partner. I can never say enough about how great he is. He is definitely a man’s dog. We don’t know his history or why he was at the shelter in July of 2018. All we know is that we only brought him home as a temporary foster. He was tagged by a rescue that was waiting for his transport to Montana. Due to lack space for the transport, we decided to keep him. When we brought him back home, we noticed that he had some strange ways. He is extremely afraid of loud pops and he trembles/hides under our bed when he hears thunder. We often know when we are about to get thunder long before we can hear it, because he will suddenly go into a panic and run. We have also noticed that he flinches when there is a sudden movement toward him, so we think he may have been hit a lot. The combination of everything is probably why he ended up at the shelter in July, right around Independence Day. However, no one claimed him and he was not chipped. He was a homeless stray. He has a thing with growling and protesting. One of the first times he growled at me was approx 2 weeks after we had him. I scolded him and he growled and gave chase. It freaked me out! I don’t know what was going through his head….but I had decided I could no longer keep him. We started looking for a home. Yes, I was too quick to judge…..and with the number of dogs I have had over the years, I should know better. A few weeks after that, I started seeing something about him. He really started showing a different side of him. He still growled, but we held firm. We never gave him the satisfaction of scaring us….or of knowing we were scared. In other words, my husband would tell him “NO” and we stood our ground with him. We believe he was trying to gain his dominance. He saw us as his pack of dogs….and wanted to be the leader. It wasn’t going to happen, but he didn’t know that yet. I can never say enough about how great he is. He is definitely a man’s dog. We don’t know his history or why he was at the shelter in July of 2018. All we know is that we only brought him home as a temporary foster. He was tagged by a rescue that was waiting for his transport to Montana. Due to lack space for the transport, we decided to keep him. When we brought him back home, we noticed that he had some strange ways. He is extremely afraid of loud pops and he trembles/hides under our bed when he hears thunder. We often know when we are about to get thunder long before we can hear it, because he will suddenly go into a panic and run. We have also noticed that he flinches when there is a sudden movement toward him, so we think he may have been hit a lot. The combination of everything is probably why he ended up at the shelter in July, right around Independence Day. However, no one claimed him and he was not chipped. He was a homeless stray. He has a thing with growling and protesting. One of the first times he growled at me was approx 2 weeks after we had him. I scolded him and he growled and gave chase. It freaked me out! I don’t know what was going through his head….but I had decided I could no longer keep him. We started looking for a home. Yes, I was too quick to judge…..and with the number of dogs I have had over the years, I should know better. A few weeks after that, I started seeing something about him. He really started showing a different side of him. He still growled, but we held firm. We never gave him the satisfaction of scaring us….or of knowing we were scared. In other words, my husband would tell him “NO” and we stood our ground with him. We believe he was trying to gain his dominance. He saw us as his pack of dogs….and wanted to be the leader. It wasn’t going to happen, but he didn’t know that yet. I was never the girl who really wanted to get married. I thought these things kind of happen in a magical future. I married the man I stumbled onto in Colombia 2,5 years ago. Easy, simple.I was never around pregnant women, I didn’t really know what it means. I saw them walking around like some sort of beautiful aliens but I never thought it would be me.What I did know is that being in a female body I would absolutely LOVE to experience this precious gift before I leave this earth.My sister gave birth to her two daughters but I wasn’t there during any of the pregnancies. A girlfriend recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and this was my first time being close to a pregnant woman. But, of course, this is something no one can explain unless you feel it yourself. Every pregnancy is unique.I was 49kg and 164 cm at the time when I got pregnant. My body looks like a 19-year old body. I think it’s a bit ridiculous but my husband (obviously) loves it.Two weeks before the news I messaged a photographer and told her I want to have a boudoir session because I am currently in the best shape possible and I will probably get pregnant soon so I would really like to capture this body as it is right now because it will never be the same.I know “it” happened on our couch in the living room (will spare you the details of the specific position) during my ovulation but I wouldn’t know for sure.I find it surprising that some women REALLY want to be pregnant and have a child while not having a healthy, loving relationship with their partner.
